The EDIH pro_digital was launched on 1 January 2023. It is one of 227 European Digital Innovation Hubs across Europe that will receive funding from the DIGITAL programme for 36 months. We are committed to the transformation processes of digitalisation and sustainability in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-caps, start-ups and public administration in the state of Brandenburg and throughout Europe. The consortium partners, the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau and the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, have been working together for many years on automation and digitalisation projects, as well as on transformation projects and start-up topics. To complement the digitalisation, cybersecurity and safe use of AI by SMEs, SIBB e.V. has been part of the project consortium since 2026. DigitalAgentur Brandenburg GmbH is responsible for innovations in public administration with its wide range of services. pro_digital actively networks with EDIHs in the Baltic Sea region, the strategic partner region of the EDIH, and the Brandenburg state government. pro_digital brings expertise from EDIHs in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and Poland to the region.

Our main goal is to promote the "twin digital and green transformation" in the state of Brandenburg for startups, SMEs, midcaps and in public administration. By using digital technologies, they can achieve higher sustainability and reduce resource consumption and CO2 emissions.

We want to support our target audience to achieve higher digital maturity to foster more resilient, sustainable, circular, regenerative and green economic growth. In this way, we at EDIH pro_digital also want to contribute to the successful structural transformation of Brandenburg.

With our team of 30 transfer experts, EDIH pro_digital offers knowledge, practical know-how and access to various digital technologies and applications. Our portfolio includes proposals in the areas of digital skills development and security, AI applications, financial consulting and innovation strategies. We offer these through training courses, test environments for testing technologies in real contexts (model hall&labs), and opportunities for public and private funding for digital transformation.
